New for 2011, Wild Country have introduced a six berth version of the Monsoon tent, the Monsoon 6. Manufactured from fully waterproof polyester, the Monsoon six offers remarkable lightweight and low pack size considering that it is a six berth tent with lots of living area.

Despite being six berth, the Monsoon is a realistic option as a backpacking tent, weighing just 7.8kg (1.3kg per person) and having a low pack size.

The Wild Country monsoon has a stable semi-geodesic design and includes a rear storage area that can be accessed from within the inner. The Monsoon will stand up to bad weather and is rated as a 3-4 season tent.

• Guaranteed fully waterproof – the Monsoon 6 flysheet has taped seams and a hydrostatic heat of 3000mm. The bathtub groundsheet has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm.

• Pitching inner tent first, the Wild Country Monsoon 6 has a semi-geodesic design and uses 9.5mmTN reflex poles for great stability in wind. Colour coded poles keep things nice and simple.

• The internal height of the Monsoon is 157cm with an inner length of 330cm

• Inside is a storage pocket and a fully mesh inner door keeps out the insects.

• Suitable for larger families and groups who want to backpack and camp in the same living space, the Monsoon 6 will stand up to foul weather and is rated as a 3-4 season tent
